Waiting for my wife to get some groceries, one kid wanted to go in, other wanted to wait. So here we are, people watching.
Asshat parking: it’s not just for BMWs.
Truck pulled through the space between me and the Audi, then backed carefully into the dead middle. The guy got out, walked away slowly, looked back, seemed pleased, locked it, kept walking.
Also this little guy could use some tires, methinks.
Amazingly, the S5 took the place of a newish Allroad, and the space next to us was vacated by a diesel Golf wagon, a manual no less. I picked a good spot!

Reminds me of a time I parked near an old GTI, an old Volvo 240 (w/ rude hipster owner owner) and a beautiful Toyota Land Cruiser, all manuals.

I seem to have lost the ability to post so I was going through old posts to trouble shoot. Still no dice.

It’s almost every other pickup who parks like an asshat. Just as much Fords/GM/Ram even Toyota.

If the truck legitimately won’t fit in one space (with room for opening doors on both sides of course), then fine, take two spaces. But NOT at the busy part of the lot. I’m not saying that they need to park all the way at the back of the lot; it’s just that they need to be far eno ug h away that they’re not taking up two of the most valuable parking spaces available.

A truck is not use able backed in to a space. C’mon basic shopping rules.
